  • "My stay at Elephant Tree Inn was spectacular. Mark was an amazing host. It felt like I was staying at a good friend's house. The location is perfect. Super quiet, beautiful views, close to the beach. The jacuzzi was so relaxing after a long day kiting. Cooking breakfast in the outdoor kitchen with a view was special. The night sky was beautiful to behold. The place was clean with a comfy bed, and had everything I needed to make for a comfortable, relaxing and rejuvenating stay.
    The only downside is that I had to leave. I spent a month at Mark's spot and will definitely be back."

  • “I loved every second of my stay at the Elephant Tree Inn! Mark, the host, is friendly and thoughtful, and made my stay easy and relaxing. The casita has a comfortable king bed, cute patio overlooking the ocean, spacious kitchen, and a beautiful tiled bathroom. Onsite is an outdoor kitchen and gathering area where I could enjoy the eveing and also a rooftop patio to get an even better view of El Sargento. The mtb trails were close, windsports were a short 5 minute walk down the road, and Del Tingo al Tango is also a 5 minute walk for tacos. Oscaritos, the small grocery store, takes about 7 minutes. I woudl recommned this spot if you like quiet times and relaxing views in a friendly atmosphere.”

  • “Elephant Tree is such a great place in a quiet location. The property is spacious and has so many places to spend time: the rooftop with its beautiful sunrise views over the ocean and the sunsets over the mountains, the huge outdoor kitchen and pizza oven, the fire pit, the bocce ball court - all great for fun dinners with friends. The blue casita has a really comfortable king bed, a big bathroom and a kitchenette with portable burners, toaster, coffee maker and a refrigerator. There’s also a hot tub, but you have to pay $60usd every time you want to heat it up and use it, which is a bit steep, but it’s a great place from which to watch the stars and relax after a day of water sports. Speaking of water sports, it’s a 7 minute walk to the La Tuna launch, which is totally doable for kiters. It’s a little far to carry heavier wing foil and windsurf gear though.
    One of the nicest things about the Elephant Tree is how peaceful it is. It’s so quiet. Perfect place to relax and enjoy Baja.”

They were incredibly helpful before the trip - helping to arrange airport shuttles and recommending a rental car service that dropped at the property. This is such a special property - beautiful ocean views, peaceful and immaculately kept. Mark and Katharine are lovely - they greeted us with a smile and made sure we had everything we needed. The space was incredibly comfortable and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Really fun outdoor kitchen, roof top deck with amazing views and a short drive to the beach for a walk, swim or wing foil. This was our first trip to La Ventana - we can’t wait to return.”
